Algorithm Complexity of ZUC
Hi,
I am working in a Telecom Company. We are evaluating using an Encryption Algorithm for our Intel Neon Chipset. We are concerned about the Algorithmic and Performance Complexity of the algorithms. Basically what would be the throughput / CPU cycles consumed while running them.
What will be the Hardware impact on the performance front .
I have referred through the zacas website papers and ppts. It provides ZUC Algorithm uses fewer RAM and slightly more computation power as compared to Snow 3G and AES.
v1.5 is faster and better compared to v1.4 in terms of entropy performance, unique key stream generation.
My objective is to have an algorithm which is hard to crack , better throughput and less CPU cycle consumption. So, could anybody please share your views on the performance and implementation perspective.
Regards,
Arjun
